About
Research Computing at Texas A&M University–San Antonio (TAMUSA) is an emerging initiative designed to empower our campus community with advanced computing resources. Launched with support from the Counselor Research Initiative (CRI), our program is dedicated to building capacity, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration among researchers.
Our short-term goal is to increase local awareness and provide hands-on support so that faculty, students, and staff at TAMUSA can confidently use our high-performance computing (HPC) cluster. We aim to create connections that extend beyond campus, opening doors for new discoveries and impactful partnerships.
Mission
Our mission is to grow a thriving HPC research community at TAMUSA. We are dedicated to supporting faculty, students, and staff in pushing the boundaries of research, and to strengthening ties with our local community — especially in the South Side San Antonio area — by expanding access to research computing resources and expertise.
Vision
We envision Texas A&M–San Antonio as a leading hub for research computing in South Texas. Our long-term goal is to make advanced computing accessible to every researcher and to inspire the next generation of innovators in science, engineering, health, business, and beyond.
